What we do

Alliance Tax Defense helps people who owe the IRS $10,000 or more understand their options and work toward a resolution that fits their circumstances. We handle IRS and state tax debt negotiation, installment agreements, penalty abatement, Offer in Compromise, lien and levy release assistance, and back tax filing and compliance review.

How every case starts

Every case begins with a Tax Investigation Phase. We retrieve your IRS transcripts, review your financial picture, and put together a written resolution plan. You'll know what you're dealing with and what you appear to qualify for before any resolution work begins.

Who works on your case

Our team is made up of experienced tax professionals and IRS-authorized representatives. Once you sign a power of attorney, we're authorized to speak with the IRS directly on your behalf, so the calls and letters come to us instead of you.

What we're not

Alliance Tax Defense is not a law firm, and we don't provide legal, accounting, or bankruptcy services. We're not affiliated with or endorsed by the Internal Revenue Service or any government agency. If your situation calls for legal representation, we'll tell you that directly and point you toward the right kind of help rather than take a case that isn't ours to take.
